Lincs Cat Club Show 11-7-2009

My thanks to Brenda, Naomi & the committee for inviting me to judge at the club show. The venue was very interesting and the club provided a superb lunch – thank you! I inherited a class from Mrs Kalal who was unable to attend today, I hope I did not disappoint too many of her exhibitors and I look forward to seeing her soon.

Open Classes:
CLASS 406 BROWN BURMESE KITTENS
1st & BoB Mrs Akehurst’s CHIARO ZIBELLINO (27) F 08-02-2009
A sweet little girl who is rather unsure of herself. She has reasonably large and lustrous muddy golden eyes. They have good shape; fairly well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her head. They have a pleasing Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very blunt muzzle which was a little pinched today. She has a level bite, but was teething a little. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart but her head is still developing. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She had a super rounded brow. She has a good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which appeared set back a little today. Her medium sized body felt appropriately weighty and had good muscle tone for her size. She has a strong chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with dainty spoon shaped paws. She has the correct stance; taller hind legs. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a warm brown in tone but the colour is still developing, it was very clear and even. It was also short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She was a gentle, sweet little poppet and handled very nicely indeed – a nice start to the day!

CLASS 409a LILAC BURMESE KITTEN MALE
1st & BoB Mrs Willmont’s CHATHERA SUDOWNER (27c) M 21-11-2008
A very loving lad with a most charming disposition! He has large and lustrous rich golden yellow eyes. They have pleasing shape with a very well defined slant to the nose in his upper lids though the lower lids could be fuller for perfection. They are set well apart in his head. They have a very good Burmese expression by and large. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a broad blunt muzzle which he has a tendency to square off a little. He has a level bite. He has a gently rounded head and ears that are set very well apart for a kitten. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are a little large to balance his head a present. They add well to the contour of his upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile his skull has reasonably good depth. He had a gently rounded brow. He has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which appeared slightly set back today. His large body felt weighty and had good muscle tone for his age. He has a strong chest and a straight back. His limbs are elegant with large oval paws. He has the correct stance and taller hind legs. His tail balances to his shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip and had a slightly tensile feel towards the final vertebrae. His coat was a pale lilac tone, with slightly cooler mask but pink casting was evident. It was also short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture and lies very close to his body. He was shown in superb condition. He has a super temperament and was very loveable – an absolute pleasure to meet!

CLASS 413 AOC TORTIE BURMESE KITTEN MALE
1st & BoB Mr Saunders’ MOLYNMEUX HUWS-GIRL (27g) F 08-02-2009
A very cutesy exhibit. She has medium rich golden eyes, but I think she was teething which was upsetting many of her facial features today. They have excellent shape; well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids though her lower lids could be fuller. They are set well apart in her broad well developed head. They have an excellent Burmese expression despite their size. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very blunt muzzle which was a little pinched today. She has a level bite and as already noted she was teething. She has a lovely rounded head and ears that are set well apart thereon. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has quite good depth. She had a nicely rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which was set back a little and could be deeper for perfection. Her medium sized body felt very weighty and had excellent muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are rather dainty and elegant with sweet little spoon paws. She has taller hind legs. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a super soft baby blue with nice silvering already and mingled nicely with various shades of cream. It was also still very much a kitten coat, reasonably short, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She was very sweet and fitted in my pocket very nicely but I was frisked on the way out ...

Miscellaneous Classes:
CLASS 539 BURMESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER
1st Mrs Dell’s KUPRO RED SASSAFRAS (27d) F
A very gentle soul. She has reasonably large pale chartreuse eyes. They have good shape; good slant to the nose in her upper lids and quite full lower lids. They are set well apart in her head. They have a pleasing Burmese expression. Face on she has a reasonably short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle if a little pinched today. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has an exceptionally good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose but was rather shallow. Her medium sized body felt very weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and dainty with oval paws. She has a good stance having taller hind legs. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a rich bright tangerine red which is very clear for the most part with a few residue tabby markings which are to be expected. It was also quite short in length, but was a little harsh in places. She was shown in superb condition. She handled very nicely but preferred to be in her pen!

CLASS 672 AV SH CAT
1st Messers Crow & Goss’ CH KAGURA AURORA (68 45q) F
An extremely attractive exhibit. She had large and lustrous pale yellow chartreuse eyes. They had very good shape; well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids when she wanted to, she had a tendency to round them and fully rounded lower lids. They were set well apart in her broad well developed head. All in all they had an excellent expression. Face on she had a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle. She had a level bite. She had a gently rounded head and ears that were set well apart thereon. Her ears had wide bases, rounded tips and were suitably sized to balance her head. They added well to the contour of her upper face and had the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull had good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She had a very good nose break, a straight nose line with slight tapering away to the nose leather and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ended in the same vertical plane as her nose. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She had a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with spoon shaped paws. She had the correct stance with appropriately taller hind legs. Her tail just balanced to her shoulder. It tapered well from a medium thick base to a rounded tip. Her coat had a super silky feel to it and suitable semi-longhair length, although she had minimal plume to her ruff and tail plume; this is appropriate for the time of year and I made allowances, she did have toe tuffs and ear streamers however. She had quite reasonably defined ticking which descended well down her flanks, a warm BCR brown over an oatmeal ground in the hall lighting, she had good thumb prints to her ears, an “M” to her forehead and a clear scarab with spectacle markings to her face, her necklace was less well defined. She had strong hocks to her rear legs, with stripes to the inner fore legs and also to the outer rear legs, her spine lines descends down her tail to a solid tip. She was shown in superb condition. She was a gentle girl and handled very nicely indeed! I would have no hesitation in offering a CC and BoB to this exhibit today.

2nd Mrs Moore’s DUCAMARA ANNABELINDA (27) F24-07-2008
Such a little sweetie. She has reasonably large and lustrous muddy golden eyes. They have very good shape; a clearly defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her head, which is still developing and could benefit from more width. They have a very fine Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They compliment the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. Her nose break was acceptable but could stand more definition, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose and needs more depth for perfection. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her slender limbs are elegant with neat oval paws. She has the correct stance. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers very well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a warm brown in tone, it was very clear and even. It was also very short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture – very stylish. She was shown in superb condition. She is quite a sweet baby girl in a very playful mood today as she managed to steal my twizzler whilst was writing her up!

3rd Mrs Ward’s COOMAKISTA BAZILLA (27) M (A very sweet young man, please consider using a different litter that does not get into his coat)

CLASS 683 AC DILUTE BURMESE CAT
1st Mr & Mrs Williams’ MOLYNMEUX BLUEBELLE (27a) F
A simply gorgeous blue – my weak spot! An extremely attractive exhibit. She has large and lustrous pale chartreuse eyes. They have excellent shape; well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her broad well developed head. All in all they have an excellent Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a rather broad blunt muzzle. She has a messy bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart thereon. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face having a butterfly wing shape and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as nose. Her body was compact felt weighty and has very good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with good muscle tone and oval paws. She has correctly taller hind legs. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a beautiful soft blue with very attractive silvering to it. It was also reasonably short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture feeling like satin. She was shown in superb condition. She handled very nicely indeed and was very serene and lovely to judge!

2nd Mr & Mrs Williams’ MOLYNMEUX BEUXTIFUL (27c) F
This little madam was on a charm offensive today – she normally doesn’t suffer this PJ easily! Her name is rather apt and she knows it too. She has large and lustrous pale yellow eyes. They have excellent shape; super definition to the line in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her super broad head. They have an excellent Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a broad blunt muzzle. She has a level bite but it is rather untidy. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They enhance the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as the end of her nose. Her medium sized body felt extremely weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. She has the correct stance. Her tail only just balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat is a rather cool toned lilac but with pink casting evident. It was also reasonably short in length, whilst being soft in texture. She was shown in super condition. She was very sweet and her charm offensive nearly won her this class!

3rd Mrs Stephens’ GRCH MILLGILL THEATRICS (27j) F (Was her usual charming self!)
Extra 3rd Messers Crow & Goss’ CH KAGURA ELECTRA (27a) F (Rather gorgeous, let down by her bite)

CLASS 699 AC BURMESE KITTEN RESIDENT OUTSIDE OF LINCS
1st Mr Saunders’ MOLYNMEUX HUWS-GIRL (27g) F
(please see previous)

CLASS 712 AC BURMESE BREEDERS NEUTER
1st Mrs Wilshaw’s GRPR ROSSIKHAN CRACKER JACK (27c) MN
Ever so drop dead gorgeous and he knows it! He has large and lustrous yellow eyes. They have excellent shape; extremely well defined slants to his upper lids and very full lower lids. They are set well apart in his broad well developed head. They do have an excellent Burmese expression – text book in fact. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle. He has a level bite [I noticed he’d lost a single upper incisor]. He has a pleasingly rounded head and ears that are set well apart. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance his head. They enhance the contour of his upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile his skull has good depth. He has a well rounded brow. He has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a very good deep lower jaw, adding the required depth to his chin, which ends in the same vertical plane as his nose. All in all an excellent profile! His medium sized body felt weighty and had excellent muscle tone. He has a rounded chest and a straight back. His limbs are elegant and muscular with oval paws. He has taller hind legs, giving him the desired stance. His tail balances to his shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat was a pink toned lilac which was a little cool in the hall lighting today. It was also very short in length, whilst having that very expensive texture that very few Burmese achieve – the costliest of satins. He was shown in superb condition. He got a few grumbles off his chest but he handled very nicely. My pick of the day.

2nd Mr & Mrs Hardy’s CH MACHIKA GEMINI (27b) FN
A very appealing chocolate. She has large and lustrous golden yellow eyes. They have good shape; nicely defined slants in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her very broad head. They have a really appealing Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a messy bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, they have rounded tips and are in proportion to her head. They compliment the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which was set back a little. Her medium sized body very felt weighty and had good muscle tone; her weight is that very typical shock you have when picking up a Burmese – like a brick wrapped in silk. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are elegant with dainty spoon shaped paws. She has the correct stance. Her tail is just short to balance to her shoulder. It tapers well from a rather thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a mid toned chocolate with minimal contrast but brindling was evident. It was also reasonably short in length, whilst being soft in texture with that lovely satin effect. She was shown in superb condition. She was a very sweet natured girl – who added up to a greater sum than her parts on balance for me today.

3rd Mrs Willis’ CH LUSARA CHLOE NARCISSE (27c) FN 18-11-2003
Extra 3rd Mrs Stephen’s GRCH & PR MILLGILL MIMICRY (27c) FN

CLASS 715 AC BURMESE NEUTER NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR
1st Ms Hutchison’s PR HYPNOS TIGERLILYOF IRREP (27h) FN
This is beginning to be a habit – but she is rapidly becoming one of my favourite time wasters! A gorgeous exhibit. She has large and lustrous rich chartreuse eyes. They have excellent shape; super definition to the slant in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her well developed head. They have an excellent Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle. She has level gums bless her! She has a gently rounded head and her ears are set well. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose, but could take more depth for perfection. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone – thought she looked festively plump. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with spoon shaped paws. She has the desired stance with taller hind legs. Her tail just balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat has rich shades of red mingling with warm chocolate. It was also very short in length, whilst being soft and very silky in texture. She was shown in super condition. She a real joy to handle as she just love schmoozing and showing off – as I stated at the beginning a real time waster.

2nd Miss Beswick’s PR MAINMAN LEONARDO (27) MN
A very relaxed exhibit. He has reasonably large chartreuse eyes. They have good shape; well defined slant to the nose in the upper lids and nicely rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in his head. They have a pleasing Burmese expression. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle. He has a rather messy bite. He has a flatter head than desired and ears that are set quite well apart. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are in proportion to his head. They add to the contour of his upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile his skull has reasonable depth. His brow is rather lacking in rounding. He has a good nose break and a straight nose line which is a tad long. He has reasonable depth to his lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as his nose, it could be deeper for perfection. His medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. He has a rounded chest and a straight back. His limbs are strong and elegant with oval paws. He has good stance. His tail is just short balance to the shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat is warm brown in tone and has super sheen to it. It is reasonably short in length, but has a silky texture to it. He was shown in excellent condition. He is a very relaxed lad and easy to handle.

3rd Dr Frank’s CHATHERA TAMSIN (27c) FN 21-11-2004

CLASS 720 AV SH NEUTER RESIDENT IN LINCS
1st Miss Ziccardi’s AFFECTIONATE BOOBY DAZZLER (76 20) MN
A very impressive exhibit in his pen but not too co-operative on the table. Super strong large body and limbs with tail to balance with suitably small wild looking head. Super colours to coat and an especially rich ground colour to this marble pattern. Unfortunately he was too upset to handle so I cannot go into further detail.

CLASS 737 AC DILUTE BURMESE NEUTER
1st Mrs Willis’ CH LUSARA CHLOE NARCISSE (27c) FN
A very pretty lilac! She has large and lustrous pale yellow eyes. They have very good shape; well defined slants in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her pleasing head. They have a pleasing Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She has a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line which could be shorter for perfection and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose. Her medium sized body felt weighty, but was carrying some fat. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are dainty and elegant with oval paws. She has taller hind legs. Her tail was short to balance. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a pale lilac with a cooler frosty mask. It was also acceptable in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She was a very cheeky girl with a feisty side to her – but a very enjoyable character!

2nd Mr & Mrs Smith GRPR MACHIKA GUINEVERE (27a) FN
She has medium sized chartreuse eyes, the right eye has a brown fleck in it. They really let her head down as they have little definition to the upper lids and lack in fullness in the lower lids. All in all they have rather poor Burmese expression. Face on she has a reasonably short wide wedge which tapers well to a rather square muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a rather flat head and ears that are set reasonably well apart. Her ears are too small for balance but OK for shape. They detract from the contour of her upper face due to the lack of size. In profile her skull has reasonable depth. She had a flat brow. She has a reasonably good nose break, a straight nose line that is too long really. Her jaw lacks depth and recedes somewhat. Her large body felt rather over weight. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat with oval paws. She has taller hind legs. Her tail is short to balance. It tapers well from a rather thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat is a soft blue with some silvering. It was reasonably short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. I would like to see her lose some weight, she handled well and seemed rather bored with the whole affair today.

CLASS 743 AV FOREIGN ADULT, KITTEN or NEUTER BORN IN JANUARY – MARCH

Originally Mrs Kalal’s class with a large entry of 11 cats who were all present
1st Mrs Shorten’s S*MARBLE & SILK@S NTRANISU (73 41 ) M
A super Tawny Ocicat Classic. A very elegant boy; very well set eyes and his head looking very typie in general; nice modified wedge, good cheeks, good definition to muzzle. His pattern was superb with tram lines on is spine, butterfly wings and oysters to his body, thumb prints to his ears, an M to his forehead and a scarab, spectacles to his face and an unbroken necklace. Superb rich colours; a dark pattern against that rich tawny agouti background and excellent confirmation. He was present very well and handled very nicely indeed.

2nd Mrs Kaye’s SILSILA BEOWULF (23a) MN
A very attractive Aby neuter boy. Lovely sorrel ticked coat, super texture with excellent drag. M to forehead, scarab, broken necklace, white to chin but good hocks! Nice head pleasing yellow eyes, wee indentation to profile, firm chin and good width. Tail balances and limbs are neat and elegant. He handled very well - obviously waiting for the extra legs to develop! Seriously though a very lovely exhibit whom it was a pleasure to handle today.

3rd Mrs Davison’s MAUOLOGY CRYSTAL (78 30s) F (A very pleasing exhibit!)

CLASS 745 AV FOREIGN ADULT, KITTEN or NEUTER BORN JULY – SEPTEMBER
1st Miss Bradley’s GRCH KAMEHAHD TICKETY BOO (72 45) F
A very gentle exhibit. She has large and lustrous rich golden amber eyes. They had good shape; a reasonably well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They were set well apart in a head that lacks in width at present for my taste. All in all they had a pleasing expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a reasonably blunt muzzle which looked a little pinched today. She has a level bite with a couple of upper incisors missing. She had a very gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears had wide bases, rounded tips and balance her head. They enhance the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She had a rather gently rounded brow. Her nose break could take more definition for perfection, it had a straight nose line which fell away slightly toward the end. Her lower jaw had reasonable depth but was slightly set back. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had pleasing muscle tone. She had a strong chest and a straight back. Her limbs were dainty and elegant with oval paws. She had the correct stance. Her tail just balanced to her shoulder. It tapered well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. She had superb black ticking with very clear definition on her rich coppery ground, she had clear thumb prints to her ears, an “M” to her forehead, a scarab, spectacles, good necklace. She had small stripes to all legs with trout like spots to her upper forelegs and on her tummy too, she had solid hocks to her rear legs. She had clear spine line and rings too on her tail. Her coat was also very short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture – very pleasing. She was shown in superb condition. She handled very nicely and was really rather confident today.

2nd Mrs Ward’s HUGGIBEAR EBONY CHIEFTAIN (72) Bombay M
Still a rather young adult. He had medium sized eyes, pale yellow with a vivid green inner rims beginning to form. They had an horizontal line in the upper lids and reasonable rounding to lower lids. Face on he had a short wedge which was still a little pinched. His bite was level. He had gentle rounding to the top of his head where his ears were set well apart. They were wide in the base and had nicely rounded tips. They balanced his head well. His skull had medium depth, a gently rounded brow and a fairly good nose break. His nose has a bump mid way down, his jaw was only just acceptable for depth and was set back a little. His medium sized body had reasonable muscle tone and weight to it. He had a strong chest and a straight back. His limbs were in proportion, they were taller in the hind legs and had oval paws. His tail only just balanced. It tapered well to a rounded end and was somewhat thick at the base. He was generally well coloured to the roots, although he did have several out breaks of white hairs mostly on the back of his neck, on his chest under his chin and on his limbs, his tummy was also had a rusty tone to it. His coat was really too long for a shorthaired exhibit. He was very easy top handle and has very sweet temperament – he is very easy to waste time with!

CLASS 750 AC BURMESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER BORN OCTOBER – DECEMBER
1st Mrs Williams’ MOLYNMEUX BEUXTIFUL (27c) F (please see previous)

2nd Mrs Catterick’s GRPR NEMOREZ THERED BARON (27d) MN
An adorable character! His pale yellow - chartreuse eyes lack size really. His upper lids tend to be rather horizontal and lower lids could be fuller. They are set well apart. They have could had a better Burmese expression. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very blunt muzzle. He has a level bite [though is missing incisors on his lower jaw]. He has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are in keeping with his head. They add to the contour of his upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile his skull has reasonable depth. He has a gently rounded brow. He has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a rather shallow, receding lower jaw. His large body feels weighty and has good muscle tone. He has a rounded chest and a straight back. His limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. He has taller hind legs. His tail balances to his shoulder. It tapers from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat was a rich warm tangerine red tone. It is medium-short in length, whilst being soft in texture. He was shown in excellent condition. He is a very relaxed and adorable character – a super companion I bet!
