Class 403 AOC Tortie Burmese Kitten

1st & BoB to Miss Davidson’s KARAKORAM PRETTY PEGGY, 27g, F, 02-05-2008

A very sweet girl, confident and well grown for her age. Large and lustrous eyes, set well apart with pleasing shape to both upper lid which slants well to the nose and fully rounded lower lid, although the colour is still developing currently they appeared, under the show lighting, to be a light golden yellow in tone. Although her ears are currently dominating her head I was happy to make allowances for her stage of development, they are set well apart and quite low on the side of her head, wide at the base, rounded tips and showing correct forward tile in profile. Head is rounded nicely, with a short wide wedge coming to a blunt finish with a level bite; in profile showing good rounding to brow, good nose break, straight nose, jaw of acceptable depth set in a straight plane with her nose tip. Her body is developing very well and is of a good size for her age, very good weight, well rounded chest with straight back. She has solid legs which are in proportion to her body, the hind legs being taller than her fore legs with spoon shaped paws. Tail balances well, is of a pleasing shape, tapering well to a rounded end. Her coat although still kitten soft lies close to her body and is of a soft blue shade with silvering coming along nicely mingled well with shades of cream. She was shown in excellent condition. A very sweet baby girl who is developing very nicely and has charming temperament purring away for the whole time she was out of her pen; she really enjoyed being handled.

1st Mrs Hamilton’s JETSTAR REGAL QUEST, 68 43bq, M, 19-11-2007

What a charming well grown youngster! Large and lustrous green-yellow eyes, with deep chocolate rims; set well apart with super shape to his upper and lower lids. Good sized ears for head, wide at the base. His gently rounded head was showing a short wedge of medium width at present though it tapers to a blunt finish with an untidy bite but super width to his cheeks; profile showing skull of good depth, rounded brow, good nose break, although the nose is basically straight it falls away slightly to his nose leather, jaw of acceptable depth which recedes slightly. His medium sized body is of very good weight though he is still growing having a strong chest and straight back. His medium legs are well muscled of slender and elegant bone structure; correctly taller on his hind legs with charming spoon shaped paws. His tail balanced and was tapered to rounded end. He was a deep but warm BCR chocolate with typical paler ground, relatively lightly shaded with an even mantle that descends his flanks well. His legs are clear of stripes apart from a faint smudge to his upper hind legs only. He has thumb prints to his ears, appropriate rims to his eyes, ears and nose leather with a scarab and M to his forehead, a broken necklace and solid colour to his hocks. His coat is developing nicely with a fine plume starting to show, ruff beginning come in, streamers and tufts to ears developing and wee toe tufts beginning to grow also. Shown in excellent condition; a lovely lad with bags of character and a non-stop purr!

1st Dr Collin’s GR CH AUREUS FEMME FATALE, 27c, F, 08-10-2006

Although rather upset this girl handled well. Large and lustrous pale yellow eyes with super shape to upper and lower lids set well apart: the shape of her upper lids were enhanced by her mood! Good sized ears, again set well apart on a gently rounded head, showing round tips and wide at the base with correct forward profile tilt. Head is of good depth, with a short wide wedge, which tapers to a blunt finish and has a level bite. Profile showing a rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose and jaw of good depth which correctly aligns to the tip of her nose. Her large body was of excellent weight, strongly rounded chest with a straight back. Medium sized legs well muscled and in proportion to her body, hind legs are taller than fore with oval paws. Tail balances well and taper to a paint brush end. Coat is short, soft and silky to the touch showing a pale lilac tone with pink casting. Shown in excellent condition, has a lovely head.

2nd Mr & Mrs Towers’ CH FERNYAULGH MISS BLUEBELL, 27a, F 25-03-2006

My first impression was how lovely face on this cat appeared sitting in her pen: - I wasn’t disappointed upon taking her out. Large and lustrous eyes of pale chartreuse tone, set wide apart showing supper expression with correct slant to nose on her upper lids and pleasing rounding to her full lower lids with pleasing eye liner effect to rims – another girl who’s mood enhanced her expression. Ears of good proportion to head set well apart with rounded tips and wide at the base. Head has good depth to skull, gentle rounding, and a short wide wedge with a level bite; in profile showing a very good nose break, straight nose, her jaw sits correctly in a straight plane to her nose end although it could be deeper for perfection. Her medium almost compact body is of excellent weight with a strong chest and straight back. Medium legs of good muscle, but she would not stand for us, has oval paws. Tail just balances, is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded end. Her close lying coat is short, soft and silky of a mid blue colour with super silvering. Shown in excellent condition, though in bad mood, she handled well enough.

A very lovely lady who appears to be the finished article. Large and lustrous golden yellow eyes set wide a part with excellent shape to upper and lower lids – super expression! Good sized ears for her head set well apart on gently rounded top of head and were also quite low down the sides of her head, wide at the base with well rounded tips showing pleasing forward tilt. Her head has a short wide wedge, tapers well to a blunt muzzle finish with a level bite, her profile shows good depth to skull, rounded brow, very good nose break, straight nose, good depth to jaw which sits in a straight plane to the tip of her nose. Very good weight to her medium sized body, having a strong chest and straight back. Proportionately medium sized legs, taller hind than fore legs with oval paws. Tail balances, tapering to a paint brush tip. Although a deep shade of chocolate it still has warmth and is mingled well with shades of red; her coat is short, soft and silky also lies close to her body. Shown in excellent condition with a super temperament purring away during our whole encounter!

Medium sized girl of super weight with a strong chest, and straight back. Proportionate legs taller hind legs with oval paws. A very pleasant young man and very well behaved! Medium-large eyes set well apart of correct shape yellow in colour with a hint of green appearing. Ears are of a good size for his head, wide at the base, rounded tips was unable to assess the profile tilt today, set on a gently rounded head. Good depth to head with a short but medium width to his wedge tapering to a blunt finish with a level bite. In profile he has rounded brow, his break could be more defined for perfection but it is acceptable, straight nose with a shallow jaw set in the correct plane to the tip of his nose. Medium sized body feeling a little rangy today with a rounded chest and straight back. Long legs, taller hind than fore legs with oval paws. His tail balanced well was of good thickness and tapers well to a rounded end. His short coat was close lying and silky in texture, of a deep brown colour free from any trace of white hairs. Shown in good condition but preferred to be back in his pen.

2nd Mrs Holt and Mr Higgins’ CH KAMEHAHD BOROMIR BLOCKCHIP, 27a, M, 13-07-2004

Delightful temperament! Large and lustrous golden yellow eyes set well apart with good shape. Good sized ears, wide at the base with rounded tips set well apart across a gently rounded top. Skull is of medium dept with a medium width wedge tapers well with a level bite; in profile showing a very gently rounded brow, good break straight but long nose, jaw is somewhat shallow but sits in the correct plane to tip of nose. Large body was looking slightly ranging today but had weight with a rounded chest and straight back. Long legs which are in proportion to his body with correct taller hind legs and spoon shaped paws. Tail balances and is of medium thickness tapering well to a rounded end. His coat could be shorter for perfection but is soft and silky in texture it is a soft blue with very good silvering. He was shown in good condition and has such a delightful temperament – a pleasure to listen to him purr away!

A real charmer – “just lovely” are my first comments. Very large and lustrous pale yellow eyes, set wide apart of very good shape. Ears are a good size for her head, wide at the base and with correctly rounded tips showing forward profile tilt. Head is well rounded with a short wide wedge tapering to a nicely blunt finish; unfortunately her bite was very untidy; in profile skull is of good depth with a rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose with a jaw of good depth that sits correctly in a straight plane to her nose end. Her medium size body has a lovely weightiness about it with a strong chest and straight back. Medium sized legs in proportion to her body with taller hind legs and spoon shaped paws. Her medium thick tail balances well and has a slight taper to a paint brush tip. Her short coat is silky in texture and is an even lilac with a hint of pink casting. Presented in supper condition with such a winning personality!

1st Mr & Mrs Potter’s GR Pr GOWLAREN HARRYPOTTER, 27, MN, 18-02-2003

This gentle boy really knows how to work judge! Ample sized eyes of the yellower end of chartreuse spectrum, set as far apart as could be on a head of medium width which I would prefer to be broader for perfection, though eyes are of correct shape. Acceptable sized ears that could stand being wider at the base with correctly rounded tips and profile slant. Head has gentle rounding and is of good depth, his wedge is short but of medium width at the jaw hinge with a bite that was just level, profile shows very gentle rounding to brow, good nose break, straight nose which angles off slightly to the nose leather, his jaw recedes slightly and is of acceptable depth. Large body is of good weight and musculature, strong chest with a straight back. His long legs are in proportion with correctly taller hind legs having oval paws. His coat is short, close lying and silky in texture it is a deep but warm brown in colour and was free of white hairs. He was shown in excellent condition and has super a winning temperament a really lovely chap who was a pleasure to handle.

2nd Mr Harrison’s FERNYAULGH APOLLO, 27a Blue Burmese, MN, 02-01-2008

Unlucky to meet the winner today, another well grown gentle boy. Still a youngster and still developing, pale yellow eyes which he was tending to hood are medium-large in size and set well apart on this medium width head which I would prefer broader for perfection, though his eyes have the correct shape. His ears are large and slight unbalanced for his head at the moment, as his head matures and broadens I suspect they will be more in keeping, they have good width to the base and rounded tips. His head has a medium length and medium width to wedge at present, with a good level bite and blunt muzzle finish. In profile showing skull of good depth, rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose with a jaw of reasonable depth though it recedes slightly. Medium body of good weight is still growing, strong chest and straight back. Long legs are bit gangly at present but with good muscle tone, taller on hind legs with oval paws. Tail balances very well is of medium thickness and tapers to a round finish. His coat is of medium length, lies close to his body, is soft and silky; in colour of a mid blue tone with good silvering coming along nicely! Essentially a gentle lad who although handled well was a bit weary today.
